How do I add a widget to my home screen?
- Long press on your iPhone home screen until the apps start to jiggle
- Tap the + button in the top left corner
- Search for "Golf Pulse" in the widget gallery
- Choose your preferred widget size (small, medium, or large)
- Tap "Add Widget" and position it on your home screen
- Tap "Done" in the top right corner
How do I enable Live Activities?
- Open the Golf Pulse app
- Navigate to the tournament you want to follow
- Tap the "Start Live Activity" button
- The tournament will now appear in your Dynamic Island (iPhone 14 Pro and later) and on your Lock Screen
Note: Make sure Live Activities are enabled in Settings > Golf Pulse > Live Activities.
Why isn't my widget updating?
Widgets update periodically based on iOS system decisions. To ensure optimal updates:
- Make sure you have a stable internet connection
- Check that Background App Refresh is enabled for Golf Pulse in Settings
- Try removing and re-adding the widget
Which tours are supported?
Golf Pulse supports five major professional golf tours:
- PGA Tour
- LPGA Tour
- DP World Tour (European Tour)
- LIV Golf
- Champions Tour
How do I change my default tour?
- Open the Golf Pulse app
- Go to Settings (gear icon)
- Select "Default Tour"
- Choose your preferred tour
How do I check golf leaderboard scores?
Golf Pulse makes it easy to check live golf leaderboard scores:
- In the app: Open Golf Pulse to see the current tournament leaderboard with live scores, positions, and round details
- Home screen widgets: Add a widget to see scores at a glance without opening any app
- Lock Screen: Enable Live Activities to track scores directly on your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island
What golf scores does Golf Pulse track?
Golf Pulse tracks live scores from five major professional golf tours:
- PGA Tour — The premier men's professional golf tour
- LPGA Tour — The leading women's professional golf tour
- DP World Tour — Formerly the European Tour
- LIV Golf — The team-based professional golf league
- Champions Tour — The senior professional golf tour
Scores update automatically throughout each tournament round so you always have the latest leaderboard positions.
Is Golf Pulse free to use?
Golf Pulse is free to download and use. The free version shows the top 5 players on the leaderboard. Upgrade to Golf Pulse Pro to unlock:
- Full leaderboard with all players
- Favourite players tracking across tournaments
- Large home screen widgets
